FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bay Leaf Restaurant & Bar Lounge is owned and operated by ST. GILES MAKATI. As such, the diners are contracting food & beverage service with ST. GILES MAKATI.
Reservation Conditions
Tables are available for two hours or such shorter time communicated to you in your booking confirmation, after which they will be re-booked for another customer. Please contact us if you would like to stay at your table for longer than two hours and, if we have space available, we will do our best to accommodate you.
We respectfully ask that you be ready to be seated at the time of your reservation to ensure the best possible level of service to all of our guests. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone at your earliest convenience. Your table will be held for 15 minutes after which time it may be allocated to another customer.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least one (1) hour’s notice for every cancellation. We also may request a deposit to guarantee a table on busy days. We are sorry that cancellation charges and deposits have become necessary, but we have had too many “no-shows” resulting in empty tables we could have reserved for other customers.
Table Allocation
Due to the large number of requests, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee window tables or specific areas when taking reservations, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Your understanding is appreciated. As a guide, if you choose to dine early. However, we cannot always guarantee this availability due to other bookings and table configurations.
Food Safety and Allergens
We respectfully mandate that food that has not been prepared in our kitchen shall not be consumed on our premises. We may allow celebratory cakes but a waiver must be signed prior to dining. Bringing in outside food is prohibited. A corkage fee will be imposed and a waiver must be signed by the guest if the customer insist.
The reasons we have implemented this policy are that we are (i) local laws require food safety and we are not aware of how the outside food & beverages were prepared, (ii) the service of food not on the menu can impact our quality of service to the customer who brought outside food and beverages, especially if we were not warned in advance, (iii) in the event of an alleged food poisoning or serious allergic reaction of one of our guests, we would be unable to trace the source in accordance with our Food Safety procedures.
We cater to most dietary requirements and have strict policies in place for customers with food allergies. The dining guests must declare their allergies to the wait staff.
Please let us know if you have any allergies before placing your order at the restaurant, and check our menu before choosing your dish. This will ensure that we are able to follow our food allergy policy and take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination. We are happy to respond to any specific requests for further information regarding allergens in our kitchens prior to your visit. All of our managers, wait staff, chefs and kitchen staff are fully trained on our allergen policy and any questions can be answered prior to orders being taken.
Cashless Payments
Please note that ST. GILES MAKATI accepts cash in Philippine Pesos. Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard, credit and debit cards.
Covid-19 and/or M-Pox
By making a booking, guests confirm that they agree to adhere to any relevant Government requirements that may be in place at the time of their reservation or dining, including, but not limited to, providing contact details for the purposes of track & trace; wearing face masks; and practicing physical distancing, if required. Guests also confirm that they do not have symptoms of COVID-19 and/or M-Pox.
Please note that should any restrictions be in place at the time of your visit, our service may also be affected or reduced.

F&B Credits
F&B Credits must be inquired first before ordering. F&B Credits cannot be used if their use is invoked after the order has been punched in the Point-of-Sales System.
If the balance of an intended purchase is higher than the F&B Credit amount, the remaining balance can be settled by cash or card. If the intended purchase is lower than the F&B Credit amount, any amount remaining will be forfeited.
All F&B Credits included in the room promo are valid within the date of hotel stay.
F&B Voucher
F&B vouchers must be inquired first before ordering. F&B Voucher cannot be used if its use is invoked after the order has been punched in the Point-of-Sales System.

F&B Voucher validity is written on the voucher.
F&B Vouchers remain the property of ST GILES MAKATI and may not be defaced, tampered with, or interfered with, without our consent.
Regretfully, we are unable to replace lost or stolen vouchers.
Guest WiFi
By accessing our guest WiFi, you agree that you are of legal age, and have read, understood, and accepted our terms and conditions.
The guest WiFi is provided at the discretion of Bay Leaf Restaurant & Bar Lounge, for guests to use while dining at our venues.
We are unable to guarantee the WiFi service or particular WiFi speeds. Guest access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any reason.
Guests using the WiFi agree that they are fully responsible for their use. Guests agree not to use the WiFi network for any unlawful, immoral, or otherwise prohibited purpose. ST. GILES MAKATI shall not be responsible for any content accessed by the user through the WiFi, and cannot be held liable for any damage, undesired resources, or detrimental effects arising from, or connected to, usage of the Guest WiFi.
ST. GILES MAKATI reserves the right to change the service, the features of the service, or the terms and conditions, at any time without notice to the user.
Noise - Bay Leaf Restaurant & Bar Lounge is a place of celebration. As such, we cannot prevent guests from chatting, and we also play music. There are times when part of our restaurant is open for walk-in guests and the other part has banquets and events. During banquets and events, loud music will be played. As such, we plead your indulgence.
